Answer: If both types of nasturtiums are getting equal sunlight, water and nutrients, I can't imagine why the bush-type are not thriving. Perhaps the soil is depleted? Or maybe it drains slowly? Cold temperatures, lack of sunlight and poor soils can all contribute to retarded blooming. Check out the environmental factors and I'll bet you'll discover the reason for the slow growth in your nasturtiums. If you take corrective actions I'll bet your plants will be blooming their little heads off by mid-summer!
