| Yellow leaves might be natural - if the leaves affected are the older leaves. Broadleaf evergreens such as citrus lose their older leaves after 2-3 years, and they are replaced by new leaves. If all the leaves are yellowing, including the newer leaves, then fertilizing is probably just what your citrus trees need. Fertilizer spikes are slow release so using them will not provide immediate results but will provide adequate nutrition. Liquid fertilizer will provide noticable results in a short time but will need to be reapplied throughout the growing season, according to label directions. |
