I cut the dead flowers off of my climbing roses about 2 weeks ago and was wondering when I would see new flowers...I hope I didn't cut them wrong!! Is there a proper way to cut off the flowers?

When you prune off dead blossoms, try to cut back to a 5-leaflet leaf. This helps encourage more blooms. However, you should know that not all roses will continue to bloom throughout the summer. Some have a distinct bloom period, and others will produce a flush of blooms, then produce sporadically throughout the rest of the summer. So don't take it personally if yours doesn't continue to bloom!
