I've had potentilla (?) bushes for about ten years and they rarely have more than a few blossoms. Every other person's plants seem to be totally covered with bloom. What's wrong with mine?? |
Potentilla blooms best in full sun, and it blooms on the new growth of the season. A late winter or early spring trim can help stimulateadditional growth tips. Pruning in late spring, however, would trim off the main crop of flower buds for the season. |
