Azalea's are host to a number of pests, but there is no one insecticide that's effective against all pests. Your best course of action is to have the pest identified, then use a product registered for control of the pest. (One that's safe to use on azaleas.) Take a sample of the pest to your local Cooperative Extension office for help with identification and ask what current controls are available. Phone (336) 401-8025.
