I have a healthy looking dianthus about 1 1/2 ft. length, and it doesn't bloom, or hasn't so far this year. It is about 8 inches tall, and keeps growing big around but doesn't bloom. Any suggestions?
ps I have given it rapid grow numerous times.

Some dianthus only bloom in the spring, others will bloom off and on during the summer and some are grown as annuals to bloom all summer long. It is possible you have a perennial or biennial type that will bloom beautifully next spring.
