Lotus - Knowledgebase Question

I have a healthy lotus on my deck that gets plenty of tlc and sunshine but it won't bloom for me. Any suggestions?

The lotus plant will bloom in mid to late summer, depending on the temperatures that year. It needs plenty of nutrients in addition to the warm weather and full sunshine all day. You may wish to fertilize it regularly with water lily type fetilizer tablets according to the label instructions if you haven't done so already. I suspect you will see buds by the end of July.
