I live beside a cow pasture with an electric fence that the farmer will not keep electric in. His cows eat my flowers. Is there anything I can plant that cows don't like?? Maybe something prickly but pretty??

Unfortunately, in my experience cows are not terribly picky and some plants are poisonous to stock, too. You might try asking permission to put your own section of electric fencing up to protect your plants, or you could possibly add some cattle panel or other smaller mesh fencing that would keep them from being able to reach. I suppose you could also look into local ordinances about farmer responsibility for damage done by domestic and farm animals.
