The Q&A Archives: Glads Not Blooming

Question: I planted my gladiolus bulbs in late May. It is now July and the foliage is about 3 feet tall but there are no signs of blooms. Are they just late bloomers or is something wrong?

Answer: Gladiolas will bloom sometime between about 70 and 100 days after planting, depending on the variety you planted. Look for blooms in the coming month or so.
