The Q&A Archives: Dead Delphiniums

Question: My Delphiniums leaves and them the flowers are turning black/brown and dying. What could the problem be?They were beautiful last year and bloomed all summer long. No problems at all.

Answer: Delphiniums are subject to a number of fungal infections and this is what I would suspect is happening in your case. They are also not normally very long lived in our climate, so this could be a contributing factor.
