What is the best method and time of year to dry hydrangea cuttings? I have heard dryingthem upright in a basket works well, but mine shrivel up when I do this.

The dried blooms will naturally be somewhat shriveled and will change color; for best quality it is important to keep them out of direct sunlight. The following web page makes numerous suggestions for how to dry hydrangea blooms as numerous techniques will work.
