I have several picklebush plants in pots. Lots
of flowers and good green stems. The problem is the
fruits. They start out ok but end up wilting and drying out.
What should I do?

There are two common causes for what you are describing. The most common one, and particularly for container grown plants, is moisture stress -- cucumbers are primarily moisture and it takes a lot of water to plump them up. Make sure the soil is kept evenly moist all the time, but not sopping wet. Next, it is possible that there is a pollination problem if there is a lot of rain or there are few insects. You might try pollinating using a soft paint brush. I hope this helps!
