Finches eat a variety of seeds and fruit. They especially like Atriplex (saltbush), Ligustrum (privet), Myrica Pensylvanica (bayberry), Photinia, Prunus (cherry or plum), Pyracantha (firethorn), Rhamnus (buckthorn), and Ribes (currant and gooseberry).
