| Cut the stems just above a leaf or point where the stem branches. If you look carefully you may be able to see where new buds are forming. Eventually, you will see how your earlier cuts have encouraged the plant to branch. The more flowers you cut, the more you will encourage the plants to bloom. Make sure they are well fertilized and the soil stays moist yet not soggy so they stay vigorous and have lots of energy to put into flowering. |
