| Nandinas seem to produce berries most abundantly when there is a grouping of the plants, rather than a single specimen. It's likely that, though the plants are self-fertile, they are at their best when cross-pollinated. It sounds like you have several bushes, so this may not be the problem. But if they are all the same variety, then it might pay to plant a few more bushes of different varieties. Also, the plants benefit from occasional pruning to encourage young, vigorous wood. |
