Hello,
I am wondering if you can help me out with a problem I am having with some of my cucumber plants. A lot of them seem to be growing round instead of elongated and after about 3 or 4 days they start turning yellow. I cant figure out what could be doing this. Some of the others look fine. And also is it normal that there has been nothing as of yet produced out of my garden. Planted the 3rd week in May. Have alot of green tomatoes and cucumbers hanging but none ready yet. Also, no peppers or squash yet.
Thank you,

Cucumbers can be misshapen due to water stress, or poor pollination or poor fertility. With the weather we have been having, I would suspect pollination problems. If they seem otherwise healthy but are yellowing, they may be overly ripe. You might want to pick them off to encourage the plants to set more cucmbers.

Many of us are waiting for things to ripen because it has been so cool and rainy. As soon as we get some sunshine, stand back!
