Is it possible to grow radicchio in the lower region of New York? If so what is needed and when is a good time of year?

Radicchio is an excellent addition to salads and can be planted for summer and fall harvest. The heads take about 85 days to mature. In your gardening region you can sow seeds in the spring for late summer - early fall harvest. Radicchio grows best in full sunshine, in rich, moist soil.
