The Q&A Archives: Spaghtti Squash

Question: When do I know when my spaghtti squash is ready to be picked?

Answer: Spaghetti squash takes about 73 days to maturity. The mature color is a pale butter yellow as opposed to the more ivory color earlier in the season. The skin should be hardened somewhat before it is picked and the squash should be cured for best storage results.
