I have pumpkin plants growing in my back yard. I had to pull some of the vines out of my neighbors yard. Doing that I broke a couple of vines. The vines are very long and I hope I didnt hurt the plant. Can you give me some advice?

Pumpkin vines really do need lots of room to sprawl, as you've discovered. It's too bad the vines broke off when you tried to move them. If you haven't already, make clean cuts with a sharp knife wherever a vine broke off. The plants should remain healthy and will divert all of their energy into the remaining vines. They may even sprout some new vines.

It's usually easier to divert the vines when they begin to grow in the wrong direction rather than try to move them when they're really long. Keep a close eye on your vines!
