I have never planted a fall garden. I live in San Jose California. Can you recommend some easy to grow options? I'd especially like to plant some beans/peas, broccoli and greens.

Thanks for your help.

You can plant many different crops for fall harvest, and beans, peas, broccoli and lettuces of every description are perfect for your gardening region. Check the "days to maturity" listed on seed packs and in catalogs, so you'll know about when to harvest. You can sow seeds at 2 week intervals to spread out the harvest. Enjoy!
