Question: I have a locust tree which flowers in the spring and then gets berries which turn bright orange by fall.
Are the flowers or berries poisonous? I have a toddler who eats everything.

Answer: Locust (Robinia) bark, leaves and seeds are poisonous if ingested. Here are two websites that list poisonous plants. Poisonous plants in Canada (many grow here as well) and from Cornell University.
