I have an older African Violet. How can I split it?

Carefully tease apart the rosettes, taking care not to harm the roots. Make sure each section has roots attached. Pot them up and enclose in plastic bags (making sure bags don't touch the foliage) to create a humid environment to promote their establishment. Don't put them in a bright light location during this time. Saintpaulia can also be started from leaf cuttings in spring or during the plant's growth period. Good luck!
