Help! My 5" indoor baby palm tree brought by my sister from Florida was over watered when I was on vacation. Some of his leaves are turning brown, and his soil is still damp. The box he came in instructed me to water him once or twice a week and keep him out of direct sunlight. How can I save it?

If it was overwatered, simply allow the soil to dry somewhat before watering it again. In the meantime, trim away any brown foliage to tidy the plant. Make sure the plant is not "sunburning" die to the effects of the sun coming in the windows at a lower angle due to the lengthening days -- or even at different times of the day as the light changes. I hope your baby tree is okay.
