| I'll bet your plant was mistakenly marked Black Beauty. Eggplant comes in many colors from deep pink to purple, dark purple, striped and white. Yours is probably 'Snowy', not Black Beauty. Snowy produces ivory white fruits with a mild flavor. Eggplants are ready to harvest when the skin is shiny and the fruits have reached the desired size. Enjoy your eggplant! |
