The Matrona Sedum I planted are wilting. The stems are soft and hollowing. Eventually they dye off. What is happening and how can I help them?

Unfortunately, based on your description I am unable to determine the specific cause of the problem, although it is possible that the plant is growing in too damp a location, is planted too deeply or is suffering a bacterial or fungal infection. You might wish to take a sample to your county extension (349-1247) and see if they can identify the problem more precisely and suggest what to do to stop it. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
