I have a rental house that has several rose bushes. They don't produce any blooms, they are in a over shaded area of the yard, can I dig up and transplant to a more sunny location without to many problems? What is the best time to transplant? |
I'm sure your roses will appreciate a sunnier location! It's best to dig and transplant them during the dormant season. In your gardening region that would be December or January. Prepare the new holes prior to digging, then dig and transplant your roses, followed by general annual pruning. They should grow nicely and bloom by next summer. Enjoy! |
