| What is the best way to dry hydrangeas? I've tried to put them in water first, then I tried no water. I've cut them in the morning and the evening. It didn't seem to matter because they have all ended up looking wilted. |
| Hydrangea flowers can be dried by cutting the fully opened blossoms, plus several inches of stem, removing the leaves, and hanging the stems upside down in a cool, dark area, with plenty of good air circulation. When the blossoms are completely dry they will have lost some of their color, but will keep well for several years if carefully handled. |
