| A couple of years ago, I bought two june berry (service berry) bushes. They have done very, very little in growth. I am wondering what the best conditions are for growing these plants. |
| Amelanchier is the genus for Juneberry or serviceberry. They take full sun to partial shade and prefer regular water. You might want to try a balanced fertilizer, such as 10-10-10, next spring, just as new growth starts. Water well before and after applying. A layer of compost spread under the bushes to act as a mulch and to break down into nutrients might also be helpful. Good luck! |
