A couple of years ago, I bought two june berry (service berry) bushes. They have done very, very little in growth. I am wondering what the best conditions are for growing these plants.

Amelanchier is the genus for Juneberry or serviceberry. They take full sun to partial shade and prefer regular water. You might want to try a balanced fertilizer, such as 10-10-10, next spring, just as new growth starts. Water well before and after applying. A layer of compost spread under the bushes to act as a mulch and to break down into nutrients might also be helpful. Good luck!
