WHAT DO I FEED MY CLEMATIS? ACID OR SWEET FERTILIZER?

Clematis seem to do best in a relatively neutral soil that is rich in organic matter and evenly moist yet well drained, meaning not soggy. You might want to run some basic soil tests to see how the soil pH measures, but in general a complete granular fertilizer such as 10-10-10 applied according to the label instructions and/or an application of compost each spring should be adequate.
