Answer: Black eyed Susans and purple coneflowers along with lanceleafed coreopsis are quite easy to start from seed. You might also cnsdier buying a few plants and growing them on, then dividing them to increase them. It is amazing how quickly you can fill an area this way. The above three are easily divided, as are thread leafed coreopsis, daillardia, nepeta, thyme, and daylilies and sedums of all kinds. These would all do well in full sun and are not terribly demanding in terms of soil or care.
