Is Kudzu edible? If so, where can we get some recipes?

I can provide a link with recipes, but please use caution. Aside from some unknowns about the safety of kudzu itself (which years of use by some people would seem to negate), the greater concern is where the kudzu is coming from. One would need to be sure it is not sprayed with chemical control agents that may be harmful to humans, and that it does not assimilate other environmental contaminants, etc.
