My tomatoes get to about 18 inches tall and start to bud just as the temperature stays above 90 all night. I never get a crop. When should I plant them to ensure that I get some fruit?

Tomatoes are best planted in the low desert from about Feb. 15 to March 15 so they have time to establish and set fruit before hot temperatures hit. However, they will need protection from frost until about March 15 which is approximately the last frost date. You may need to adjust these dates based on your microclimate. Good luck next time!
