I have seeds to a paw paw tree. How do I tell male from female when they sprout?

You won't be able to tell from the plants, but when they're old enough to flower, you'll be able to determine the males from the females by the flower parts. The female flowers will have a vase-shaped ovary at the base of the flower. Male flowers will look a little straighter at the base. Good luck with your paw paw plants!
