Is it okay to take cuttings from oleander this month?

Greenwood or semi-ripe cuttings can be taken from oleander from late spring to early autumn. Note that all parts of oleander are poisonous and some people have skin reactions to the plant's sap. Wear protective gear when working with the plant.
