I have had remarkably good luck with delphiniums, but we have recently moved. The previous owner had planted delphiniums which bloomed beautifully this year, but not where I want them. Can I move them now or must I wait for spring?

Unfortunately, in my experience delphiniums can be very difficult to transplant once they are beyond the seedling size. Since they are such "iffy" plants in hot summer areas, you might want to enjoy them where they are as long as they are healthy and happy.
