Can I sow columbine and monarda seeds in the fall in Michigan?

Monarda is best sown in spring when the soil temperature reaches 50 degrees F. With Columbine you have two choices: If seed is old, plant in autumn to expose to cold to help germination. If seed is fresh, sow in late spring or early summer. Good luck!
