I have a mystery plant - it is growing in full shade and the leaves are toothed like a blackberry, but there are no thorns. The flowers look a little like a columbine or tiny orchid, pink and white with a spur off the lower back. It has been blooming non-stop June - Sept., and now there are seedpods which burst when touched (the skin peels back and shoots out seeds). Any help identifying this would be appreciated.

Your mystery plant is often called Touch-Me-Not, for obvious reasons! It's a member of the Balsam family and related to impatiens. The botanical name is Impatiens oliveri (sometimes sold as Impatiens sodenii).
