I have a small garden that is being taken over by garlic, yes garlic. There are thousands(literally) of little stalks coming out of the ground and when I pull them up, there are small bulbs that look and smell like garlic. They range from on the surface to 6" deep (the bulbs) and they may even go deeper. At least half of the stalks break as I try to pull them out and as I said before, there are literally thousands of these. It seems like too much work to pull them out by hand. I tried turning the soil last year and this spring but they are coming up now at full strength! Is there a product that I can use that would kill even the deepest rooted bulbs and STILL be able to use the garden next year? |
Sounds like you have been invaded by wild garlic! A non-selective herbicide |
