I am looking for a hibiscus and don't know it's name, but it seems very common on California's coast. It has a white flower striped (?) with bright pink, and a pink center, with very few (5 or so) individual petals. I was hoping some one could tell me it's name, and maybe where I can find one?

What you're describing is Hibiscus syriacus 'Helene'. Commonly called Rose of Sharon or Shrub Althaea, plants should be available at local nurseries. Failing that, you can order from Greer Gardens, 1280 Goodpasture Island Rd., Eugene, OR 97401-1794. Phone (541) 686-8266.
