The Q&A Archives: Cosmos Growth Habit

Question: I have two cosmos plants growing in my yard. They are now over 13 FEET tall and GROWING. Is this normal?

Answer: Cosmos typically grow from 12"-48" in height. In your mild climate they must be really happy! It's not abnormal, considering the wonderful weather and good care they've been enjoying, but 13' tall is certainly unusual! Lucky you!
