I grew moonflowers this year. I want to have them again next summer but don?t know when to take the seedpods off or even if I am supposed to. Could you tell me what to do?

Linda,

When the seed pods turn brown pick them and take them indoors. Break them open to get the large seeds out and then allow these seed to dry for another week indoors. Then put them in a sealed jar and place the jar in the refrigerator for storage until spring when you will plant them. Make sure and label the jar, especially if you have other seeds to store. In fact you may want to place them in a labeled envelope in the jar, so you can store other seeds in the same jar.
