My pampas grass is three years old and has never formed any plumes. It gets sun most of the day and has tripled in size since I planted it. I live in the southern area of zone 7. Can you help me out? |
Pampas grass(Cortaderia selloana) may not bloom when it is young, or if it does not receive enough sunlight. I would expect it to be blooming after three years unless it was truly but a wisp when you planted it. So, it may need more sun. It really does best with full sun all day long. |
