I am moving and would like to take my President Clematis with me. Can I transplant it now in fall?

The end of October is a bit late for transplanting in your cold climate, because the root system won't have time to establish before freezing temperatures. You could try potting it up and transplanting in spring. If you decide to transplant into the ground, be sure to provide a 4-6 inch layer of mulch to help protect it over the winter. Good luck!
