I have been trying to locate a Euonymus Fortunei, green leaf/white edges, to plant in full sun. All I see have green leaves/yellow edges. Our summers here are unbearably hot---is this not a good variety for our area?

E. fortunei 'Emerald Gaiety' has green leaves edged in white.
A plant source database search showed it available at:

Appalachian Gardens, Box 82, Waynesboro, PA USA 17268-0082
Telephone 888-327-5483, [email protected]

McKay Nursery Co. P.O. Box 185 Waterloo, WI USA 53594 Telephone 920-478-2121 http://www.mckaynursery.com

Midwest Groundcovers P.O. Box 748 St. Charles, IL USA 60174
Telephone 847-742-1790 http://www.midwestgroundcovers...

It was also available through numerous wholesale nurseries, so you could have your local nursery order it.

'Ivory Jade' has white leaf margins that can show pink in winter. It was listed as available through Appalachian Gardens.

E. fortunei is rated for your area, but check with one of these sources for more detail on the specific variety. Good luck!
