Someone gave me a round pod which is very thorny and said it was a Trumpet flower. Now I am not sure after reading all your FAQ's, perhaps it is Datura. Inside each pod are hundreds of seeds. What do I do with them? Can I plant them now or wait until spring?

Datura are also commonly called Angel's Trumpet. Brugmansia is the Latin genus name. Seeds are best sown in spring at 68-77 degrees F. Keep the surface of the soil moist at all times, but not overly wet. Good luck!
