I am looking for a type of bean known as a Tippary bean. My boss asked me to try to find out where he could purchase this kind of bean. I'm not sure he has the spelling correct. It might just sound something like Tippary or the spelling might be somewhat off. It might even be something like Tipperary etc. |
I think you are referring to the Tepary bean, which has been grown by native peoples in the Southwest for hundreds of years. It is extremely drought tolerant and comes in many beautiful colors. Native Seeds/SEARCH in Tucson offers many varieties. Their website is www.nativeseeds.org. |
