we recently tried to use a variety of herbs as fertilizer to stimulate the growth of radishes. we found that like chamomile mixed in the soil produced larger plants than the sage, thyme,cayenne, oregano, basil, parsley, mint, rosemary, and a control pot with no herb. can you please explain why this occured. |
If you could analyze the herbs, you would find they contain varying amounts of nutrients and micronutrients, so it is possible the chamomile was more beneficial than the other herbs. However, I would suspect that other outside factors might have influenced the plants as well. It would be interesting to see if you could replicate the results. |
