The Q&A Archives: Dwarf Burning Bushes

Question: I have 8 dwarf burning bushes. 4 are 2 years old and 4 were planted this year. One of them has red berries on them. Why?????

Answer: The berries are normal. In previous years the berries may have been removed by pruning earlier in the season. They are not often mentioned in descriptions about these bushes because their main "claim to fame" is fall color, but the berries are a nice touch nonetheless. Enjoy!
