can the norfolk island pine be planted outside in the spring will it survive the cold winters in new jersey or perhaps it is just for inside ONLY |
Unfortunately, this tree will not toleratea cold New Jersey winter so it must be kept indoors. Indoors, provide bright light and cool household temperatures. Water regularly from spring through autumn, but sparingly during the winter months. Provide a humdifier or group this one with other houseplants to keep the humidity level high; this is especially important during the winter months when indoor air can be very dry due to heating systems. Norfolk Island pines are slow-growing and relatively easy to care for. |
