Although some fall blooming azaleas have been publicized lately, unfortunately these varieties are not reliably hardy in colder winter areas. (You may occasionally see a few sporadic blooms on some of the spring blooming plants, however and the breeders are certainly working on trying to develop more cold tolerant rebloomers as well.)

Iris normally bloom in early summer, with a few varieties repeating in late summer if conditions are favorable. Burpee may offer some in their catalog, or you might look into some of the iris specialty houses such as Cooley's http://www.cooleysgardens.com/ or Shreiners http://www.oregonlink.com/iris... for a broader selection of specialty iris.
